Safe and Sound Protocol
(SSP)
Five hours of music. Long-lasting impact.
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a powerful listening therapy designed to help regulate the nervous system, so you can better connect with yourself, others and the world around you.
What is SSP?
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is designed to help the body anchor itself into the ventral vagal state, promoting regulation and recovery from dysregulation. The SSP consists of five hours of digitally altered music aimed at
fostering physiological change. It specifically targets the muscles and bones in the inner ear to support this process.

How does it help?
SSP is a therapeutic tool designed to help the nervous system better regulate itself, which can lead to improvements in:
-
Emotional Regulation: Reducing the intensity of anxiety, stress, and panic attacks.
-
Auditory Sensitivity: Decreasing noise sensitivity and improving the ability to focus on human voices.
-
Social Engagement: Improving social comfort, listening skills, and the capacity for connection.
-
Trauma Response: Creating a sense of safety to process emotions and trauma more effectively.

Intake Process
The delivery of the SSP protocol requires clinical oversight, as it is a nervous system intervention. An initial assessment is needed to determine the most suitable clinical conditions for administering the protocol. This assessment
session is priced at $250 and can be conducted virtually. Following the assessment, a personalized treatment plan will be created. A 30 min check-in session will also be booked at $110.
